The `New order` button may be inactive for the following reasons:
- If the `New order` button, which is located on MT5`s top toolbar, is inactive and gray, then you probably used your investor password to sign in to the terminal.
To start trading, please sign out of the trading terminal (Main menu -> File -> Login to trade account). This time, use your trading password to sign in (you set your password when you open new Live Account ) https://mtrading.com/dashboard/accounts - There is no Internet connection. Please verify your Internet connection by looking at the indicator in the lower right corner of the terminal. If you have no Internet connection, try signing in to the terminal again; you may have chosen a wrong server or entered a wrong password.
- The `Buy` and `Sell` buttons in the New order window may be inactive if you have not entered all the order parameters. If the `Buy` or `Sell` buttons in the New Order window are inactive and gray, please make sure that you have entered the trading instrument and transaction volume in the corresponding fields. Please also note that an order cannot be opened if your account type does not support executing an order of the specified volume.
